According to Joe Catalano, owner of Brisbane carpet cleaning and pest control company Sun Dry, “Cash is king – if things go wrong it’s good to have some money in the bank.”

So when Mr Catalano decided to upgrade Sun Dry’s carpet cleaning equipment, he chose a rental facility from The Leasing Centre. “The advantage is I didn’t have to use my own money and the payments are tax deductible,” he said.

It was a win-win result. Sun Dry got the new equipment, while maintaining their cash reserves for a rainy day.

Previously Mr Catalano had used a bank for his personal and business finance. But he was getting frustrated with their poor customer service. “They were treating us like a number and taking a week to return our phone calls.”

He found his account manager at The Leasing Centre much easier to deal with. “He was such an approachable guy and got things done overnight,” Mr Catalano said.
